support either the base or tall cabinet off the floor. This gives
your garage a more upscale appearance, and makes floor cleaning
easier. The UHDS is a GarageScapes exclusive, and it is the
strongest slatwall shelf in the world. We use thicker steel, and our
slatwall lip is almost eight times as wide as a competitive "super
heavy duty" shelf. Our UHDS has a durable epoxy finish. Dimensions:
approximately 31.5 inches wide, 19.25 inches deep, and 18 inches

The shipping cost is added automatically when you add an item to
your PayPal shopping cart. If you live in the Traverse City,
Michigan area, we will deliver the items to you without any shipping
charge for orders over $100. If you wish to use the automated PayPal system to place your
order, we will refund all shipping charges. Include a note with your
PayPal order indicating that you wish to receive free home or
business delivery in the Traverse City area.
The shipping cost includes FedEx
Ground
shipping within the continental United States (not including Alaska
or Hawaii).

How to get free shipping:
1. We offer free shipping within the
continental United States (not including Alaska or Hawaii) for
orders over $1000 (see exceptions below).
2. We offer free home or business
delivery in the Traverse City, Michigan area for orders over $100.
If you order using the PayPal shopping
cart, it will automatically add in shipping costs. If you qualify
for free shipping or home/business delivery, we will refund 100% of
the shipping cost you paid.
Exceptions: Cabinets do not
qualify for free shipping. Therefore, to obtain free shipping, your
order must total at least $1000 for items other than
cabinets. Please note that you can still include cabinets with your
order, but their cost cannot be used to meet the $1000 minimum
required for free shipping. For example, if you order $300 of
cabinets and $1050 of other items, we will refund your shipping
costs for all items except the cabinets.
How to save on shipping:
If your order is less than $1000, or
if your order is to be shipped outside the continental United
States, you may save on shipping by requesting a custom shipping
rate quote if you order large or heavy items that are expensive to
ship. We may be able to reduce your shipping cost by using FedEx
Freight or Yellow Transportation instead of FedEx Ground. If so, you
pay the actual shipping fee. If you use the PayPal shopping cart
(which automatically adds in shipping charges) and the amount you
paid for shipping is greater than the actual shipping cost, we will
refund the difference if your order is over $500 and you request a
custom shipping rate quote when you place your order.

OPTIONS FOR THE WALL, BASE, AND TALL
CABINETS
Handle color
The standard color for the handles and nuts (nuts are present
only on the base and tall cabinets) is burgundy. Also available in
other colors for
an additional charge.
Color dot cabinet coding
For an additional charge, we can add a small three-dimensional color dot to your cabinets to simplify
cabinet designation during conversation. For example, rather than telling
your wife, "The tape is in the third wall cabinet from the left on the north
wall of the garage," you could just say, "It's in the blue cabinet."
Negative-pressure ventilation
Available as an extra-cost option for all cabinets. Low-voltage brushless DC fan
safely exhausts vapors outside. Even when "sealed," fumes slowly leak from
many paint, solvent, and other chemical containers. If you've ever stored
such products in a cabinet, you may have noticed a telltale chemical odor when
its door is opened. Many of these fumes are hazardous;
some are
carcinogenic, some have adverse hormonal effects, and others can damage the
central nervous system. Storing
paints and solvents outside a cabinet does nothing to enhance safety; the fumes
are still being emitted, but perception of them may be masked by dilution in the
surrounding air. Negative-pressure ventilation also helps dispel gasoline
fumes from the garage.
Anti-tip brackets
Recommended extra-cost option for the tall cabinets. Increases rigidity and minimizes the
chance of a tip-over. Although the cabinets are quite stable by
themselves, children have an amazing ability to create situations no engineer
could imagine. In any storage container (such as the tall cabinet or the
dresser in your bedroom), the risk of tipping is increased when heavy items on
placed on the top shelf, because this raises the center of gravity. Conversely, the risk of tipping is minimized if light items are placed toward
the top, and heavy objects toward the bottom.
Wall mounting for the base or tall cabinets
This gives your garage a neater appearance and it simplifies cleaning. Ask
your GarageScapes representative to discuss the various options available for an
additional charge.
