Custom sheds



Custom Sheds We think that sheds should be beautiful in addition to being an economical way to add storage space. However, sheds are often bland "mini-barn" eyesores that are flimsily built. A custom shed can be a focal point that enhances the appearance of your yard and the value of your property. Here are some of the sheds we've built:

	This Alpine shed includes a second story that can be used as a fun office or a place to read a good book, drink coffee, or simply to put your feet up and think. The four large windows provide plenty of natural illumination.

	Here is the side view of the shed. Notice the generous 2-feet overhangs in the front and rear. These substantially increase storage space in the two overhead lofts, both of which are just over 6 feet deep (although they appear much shorter in the photos below, because of geometric foreshortening). Speaking of lofts, let's step inside this shed and take a look around.

	Here is the inside of the door when the front section was nearing completion. Note the gorgeous door that we made from scratch.

	This is another shed we made with a hand-carved door. The natural-colored cedar boards spanning either side of the porch area are sawn on their inner aspects to create the silhouette of an evergreen tree.

We can make a hand-carved door to beautify your shed or home, creating a design similar to the one shown, or myriad other possibilities (such as a deer, moose, bear, dog, cat, bird, cabin, sailboat, sun, snowmobile, skis, a maple leaf, etc.). Other window sizes and shapes (round, square, rectangular, triangular, hexagonal, octagonal) are available in addition to the oval window shown. We can make doors of any width and height for your home, garage, or shed. Custom brass, copper, or wrought iron door hardware is available.

We can design and build a shed of any style. The possibilities are limited only by our collective imaginations. For example, consider a garden shed built on a slope with a main-level deck. Want to double your shed storage space? Add a walk-out lower level, or a cabin-like loft. Or add both. If you do, even an 8' x 12' shed can provide about 300 square feet of storage.
